The story

I started Roots Tax Pro because I kept meeting small-business owners who were struggling — not just with taxes, but with bookkeeping, payroll, and simply understanding their own numbers. They had a preparer for April, maybe a bookkeeper who categorized transactions, and no one connecting the two or telling them what it meant.

I wanted to build something different: a practice that treats the financial side of a business as one job, done year-round, by one person who knows the business. Not a once-a-year transaction. Bookkeeping, taxes, payroll, cash flow, and financial organization — looked at together, so owners can make informed decisions all year instead of reacting in the spring.

When your situation needs a CPA or an attorney — an audit, a legal-purpose valuation, representation before the IRS in an examination — we’ll tell you plainly and work alongside one.
